GETTING TATTOOED
To get tattooed, please message me a description of what you are looking to get on my contact page. From there, we can schedule a consultation at the shop and meet in person. I always prefer to meet in person before scheduling appointments. Then we can answer any questions you may have, take measurements and discuss a schedule for the project. Once we are both on the same page about the design, you can leave that day with all your appointments set up and ready to go.
Appointments require a deposit which will be credited back to you on your final appointment, completing the project. I charge $250 an hour for multiple session tattoos. Each appointment is usually between 2-3 hours. If you prefer full day sessions, that is also available. Longer sessions will make the process go faster, but will also have a more involved healing process. I do prefer longer sessions, but if this is your first tattoo I would recommend working up to it and seeing if it is the right fit for you.
1. Consultation
The first step is an in person consultation. We will set up the appointments and take measurements. We will take photos of the area you wish to tattoo and discuss the design and scheduling. Bring reference with you on this day (A few images of what your trying to get and a few images of tattoos you like). This helps me see exactly what your looking for.
(Arrangements can be made for far traveling clients).
2. Designing
During this time, I may reach out to you via email or text for additional information, but for the most part, I will take it from here. You will see the final drawing on the day of your first appointment. I will have the original photos taken during the consultation with an overlay of the design so you can see how I plan to map it out. I know that seems nerve wracking, not being able to see the design or designing process until the day of, but it truly works best for the inflow of projects and taking care of all my clients. I leave plenty of time during our appointments for any final adjustments to the drawing. If extensive changes need to be made, we will go to our second appointment. No need to rush. The tattoo will get done.
3. Outline
Once the design is finalized during out first appointment, the next part will dedicated to the outline process. Usually this is a quick appointment just commit the design to skin. We will build on this during our future appointments. The most important part is that the design looks great and fits perfectly.
4. Finishing your tattoo
The following sessions will be longer and dedicated to filling in the design until the tattoo is finished. The larger the project, the more sessions we will have. On our last appointment we’ll add final details, take photos and hopefully plan out the rest of your bodysuit :)
